Case sizes at true proportion

Diameter sells the dial. Lug to lug decides whether it fits.

Case diameter says how big the dial looks. Lug to lug — tip of the top lugs to tip of the bottom ones — says whether the watch stays on top of your wrist.

Not sure of your wrist? Two minutes with a strip of paper.

Wrap it just below the wrist bone, mark where it meets, lay it on a ruler. Put that number into the fit check on the Combe page and every case size gets a verdict.
