Strap lengths, read off your wrist

Two numbers per strap: the long side with the holes, then the short side with the buckle. Measure just below the wrist bone and pick the row your number falls in.

Spring bars, widths and bracelets

How do the quick-release bars work?

Each spring bar has a small lever on its underside. Pull it towards the centre of the strap with a fingernail and that end drops out of the lug. Push the new strap in until it clicks.

Which lug width does my watch take?

Sentier 34, Brévine 35 and Combe 37 take 18 mm. Doubs 42 takes 22 mm. Every other Duvanel takes 20 mm — it is printed on the caseback next to the serial.

Will your straps fit another brand of watch?

If its lug width matches, yes. Our bars are standard 1.8 mm diameter, so most watches with drilled or plain lugs accept them.

How do I size a steel bracelet?

Each bracelet has four removable links and a clasp with three micro-adjust holes. We size it free at the bench, or post you a pin tool for CHF 12.

Tuesday to Saturday, Rue des Envers 31. We fit and size any strap or bracelet while you wait, and check the gaskets while the case is open. For other makes it is CHF 15.
